The desk
How the weighing works.
The counter exists because cabin allowances are published as one number and spent in a hundred small pieces. This page is the method behind the shelf.
The weight on a plate
Every figure comes from the item weight field of the Amazon.sg listing, copied without adjustment. Sellers weigh their own stock: some put the product on a kitchen scale, some take the parcel weight from a courier label, and a few publish a figure that includes retail packaging. The plate repeats what the listing claims, and the claim is the thing a buyer can check before an order.
Where a listing ships a pillow with a bag, a mask and a pair of plugs, the published figure covers the bundle rather than the pillow alone. That is why a 272 g kit and a 227 g single pillow are not a contradiction in the table: they are two different parcels.
The cabin ceiling
Cabin allowances were read from the airlines' own baggage pages in October 2026 and written down as three separate facts: a weight, a piece count and a frame. Those three are tested separately at a gate, and a bag that passes two of them can still fail the third.
Where a carrier publishes a personal item as part of the same weight, the table says so, because that detail is where most of the arithmetic changes. Where a personal item rides outside the weight, the table says that too.
The tally
The list on the shelf is held in one local storage key in the browser. No account is created, no form is submitted and no list is sent anywhere. Choosing a carrier changes the ceiling the list is read against; it does not change the list.
The handover button builds an Amazon.sg cart from the same items in the same quantities. Amazon then re-prices the cart, confirms stock and takes payment. The figures on this site are a snapshot of a listing and not a quotation.
What the counter does not do
It does not measure a bag, does not estimate how a cabin-crew member will read a fare, and does not promise that an allowance will still be the same on the day of departure. It compares published numbers and leaves the decision with the person packing.
